Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Locate the vehicle’s OBDII port (commonly under the dashboard) and plug the scanner in firmly.
• Turn ignition on (engine off) first to read codes; start the engine only when checking live data.
• Record stored codes and freeze-frame details before clearing codes, as clearing removes diagnostic history.
• If using on a diesel vehicle, verify the supported OBDII protocol in the vehicle documentation or via a compatibility check.
