Installation & Maintenance Tips

• PTFE rear main seals are installed dry. Do not oil or grease the sealing lip.
• Use the supplied mounting sleeve and press squarely to the stop; do not hammer.
• Inspect crankshaft running surface for wear grooves; repair or sleeve if needed.
• Clean and degrease the bore; apply a light film of non hardening sealant only to the outer rim if specified by the vehicle OEM.
• After installation, allow the PTFE lip to set on the shaft before engine start as per OEM guidance.
