How To Choose The Correct Clock Spring

1. Remove the steering wheel and original clock spring (or visually inspect if already out).
2. Count the pins on the main electrical plug (e.g. 9-pin or 30-pin).
3. Check for a steering angle sensor: if your original unit has a separate or integrated steering angle sensor mounted on the clock spring, choose the 30 Pin With Steering Angle Sensor (CS1181). If it does not, choose the 30 Pin Without Steering Angle Sensor (CS1283).
4. Match by VIN / OEM part number wherever possible to avoid incorrect supply.
