How to Package Your Return

To protect your return in transit and keep the product packaging saleable, all returns must be packed in a sealed outer box. This prevents courier waybills, stickers, and handling damage from affecting the product packaging.

Packaging Requirements (Important)

Do NOT hand the item to the courier in the product’s original packaging.

Couriers apply waybills, labels, and stickers directly onto what they receive. If courier labels are placed on the product box, it can cause damage and leave the packaging unsellable. This is unacceptable and may affect the return outcome.

Correct vs Incorrect Example

The courier label/waybill must go on the outer box only — never on the product packaging.

Return packaging: YES = sealed brown outer box. NO = product box exposed with courier waybills.

Step-by-Step: How to Pack Your Return

  1. Keep the product in its original product box/packaging (if supplied).
  2. Place the product box inside a plain brown outer carton (shipping box).
  3. Add padding if needed so the item does not move around in transit.
  4. Seal the outer box securely with packing tape on all openings.
  5. Attach the return label to the outer box only and cover/remove any old shipping labels.

These examples show the same rule applied to different products: sealed outer box = YES, courier labels on product packaging = NO.

What Happens if Packaging is Incorrect?

If the product packaging is stickered, written on, torn, crushed, or damaged due to incorrect packaging, it may affect the return outcome because the item may no longer be in a saleable condition.
