    Installation & Maintenance Tips

    • Remove old sealant fully, then clean and degrease both mating surfaces before application.
    • Apply an even bead and assemble while following the manufacturer’s guidance for wet assembly where required.
    • Do not over-apply; excess sealant can squeeze into oil or coolant passages.
    • When disassembled, clean the surfaces again and apply a new coating before reassembly.
    • If applying to assembled components, ensure the joint is clean and degreased before applying directly to the sealing area.
