Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Remove old sealant fully, then clean and degrease both mating surfaces before application.
- Apply an even bead and assemble while following the manufacturer’s guidance for wet assembly where required.
- Do not over-apply; excess sealant can squeeze into oil or coolant passages.
- When disassembled, clean the surfaces again and apply a new coating before reassembly.
- If applying to assembled components, ensure the joint is clean and degreased before applying directly to the sealing area.
