Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Always replace the clutch kit as a complete set and inspect the flywheel surface for wear, cracks or heat spots.
- Fit a new clutch release bearing at the same time, even though it is not included with this kit.
- Follow the correct torque specifications and tightening sequence for the pressure plate bolts as per the service manual.
- Check and clean the gearbox input shaft splines and apply a light, appropriate spline grease where specified.
- Inspect engine and gearbox mountings for excess movement that could cause clutch judder.
