- Always replace all components in the kit together rather than mixing old and new parts
- Follow the correct tightening sequence and torque values for the new flywheel screws and pressure plate bolts
- Ensure the crankshaft and flywheel mating surfaces are clean and free from oil or old thread locking compound
- Check the gearbox input shaft for wear and lightly lubricate the splines with suitable high temperature clutch spline grease
- Install the concentric slave cylinder carefully, using new seals and ensuring no contamination enters the hydraulic system
- Bleed the clutch hydraulics properly and check for a firm, consistent pedal before road testing
- Advise the driver to avoid hard launches and heavy towing for the first few hundred kilometres to allow the new clutch to bed in
- Investigate any abnormal vibration, noise or engagement issues immediately to avoid damage to the new dual mass flywheel
